ABOUT ALIMAMA SPACES

We are looking for driven, detail-oriented Property Hosts to support day-to-day operations on the ground, deliver 5-star guest experiences, and ensure our properties are consistently maintained to a high standard.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Property Host is the frontline representative of Alimama Spaces. You will be the primary point of contact for guests, responsible for ensuring that properties are guest-ready, well-maintained, and delivering a consistent 5-star experience before, during, and after each stay.
This role is fast-paced, operationally demanding, and ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple moving parts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience & Hosting
- Act as the main point of contact for guests during their stay
- Respond to guest enquiries, requests, and issues promptly and professionally
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs
- Ensure guests receive a 5-star service experience throughout their stay
Property Operations & Readiness
- Ensure properties are guest-ready to a high standard at all times
- Conduct regular property inspections and spot checks
- Perform pre and post-stay inspections
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve issues
- Assist with onboarding new properties into the portfolio
Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate across departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Finance, CX)
- Perform administrative tasks related to property operations
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Support the Property Portfolio Manager with day-to-day operational tasks
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Based in Johannesburg or Pretoria
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays
- Valid driver’s licence is required (having a reliable vehicle is an advantage)
- Previous experience within the short-term rental / hospitality / property hosting space
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools and systems
- Professional, responsible, and reliable
- Strong coordination and critical thinking skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
