Robert Manson

Qualifications: NMP, MAP, PGDip-Business Administration, MBA-Strategy Execution- (Wits University). Master of Philosophy- International Business- (University of Pretoria- GIBS). Master’s Degree in Data Science- Big Data and Data Analytics- (University of Liverpool). PGDip- Futures Studies (University of Stellenbosch). Board Leadership Program- (University of Pretoria- GIBS). Robert Manson founded Alimama Spaces in 2015 after gaining experience working for blue-chip multinationals like Altron, IBM, Microsoft, and others. He started his professional career as a gardener, later worked as a security guard, got fired after he was caught sleeping on the job. Soon after being fired, he started working in a call centre for Protea Hotels selling Prokard membership where he spent 5 years of his life building a profile for himself while aggressively pursuing academic studies- currently doing his fourth master’s degree in global finance.

Apart from his academic qualifications, he is also a member of the institute of directors with IoDSA and a certified director.

He has continued climbing the corporate ladder to an executive level where he is currently an executive at a global multinational. He has been the brains behind Alimama spaces’ phenomenal growth since its inception.

His bold vision is to be the biggest shared economy entrepreneur not only in South Africa but across the continent, leveraging on digital platforms like Airbnb as well as digital disruptions across different industries. This model has also assisted him in building a sizable real estate portfolio across the country.

He believes that Airbnb and other digital platforms are the future and will continue disrupting traditional businesses that are not willing to innovate and offer unique experiences to consumers.   

He and his team live by one mission in mind and that’s “creating absolutely amazing experiences for all our guests” being hosted at anyone of my   spaces. 

Fun time for Robert is spent on reading, spontaneous travelling, sucker for pain in getting qualifications and is crazily in love with Chelsea Football Club and daily meditation is his spiritual healing.

Murshid Daniels

Chief Of Staff

Murshid is the Chief of Staff at Alimama Spaces, where he leads operations across a portfolio of more than 170 properties and manages a team of over 50 staff nationwide. With a background in customer service and deep roots in the luxury short-term rental sector, he has built his career around delivering high standards for both guests and property owners while ensuring operations run efficiently at scale.

Starting on the ground and working his way up, Murshid remains hands-on in the business and is known for stepping in wherever needed – whether that’s resolving operational challenges, supporting his team, or refining systems behind the scenes. His strength lies in simplifying complexity: identifying inefficiencies quickly, implementing practical solutions, and building processes that drive consistent results.

He takes a leadership approach grounded in accountability, continuous improvement, and leading by example. Known for building strong relationships across owners, agents, contractors, and internal teams, he plays a key role in maintaining both performance and trust across the portfolio.

With his sights set on a future C-suite role, Murshid has always been driven by a strong interest in leadership and operational excellence. He is a natural problem solver, committed to constant learning and focused on building businesses that are both high-performing and built to last.

Zintle Nxozana

Senior Property Portfolio Manager

Qualifications: Certificate in Airline Operations Leadership, Registered Assessor Certification, Facilitator Certification.

Zintle Nxozana is the Senior Property Portfolio Manager at Alimama Spaces, where she oversees operational performance, guest experience, and portfolio standards across multiple properties. With over 13 years of experience in aviation, customer service, and team leadership, she brings a strong operational mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for service excellence to the hospitality industry.

Having progressed from Cabin Crew to Line Checker and Fleet Leader within the aviation sector, Zintle has extensive experience in leadership, operations coordination, customer experience, and high-pressure decision-making. Her background has equipped her with strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a people-centered leadership approach focused on efficiency and consistency.

Driven by professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement, Zintle is passionate about creating seamless guest experiences while building strong operational systems and collaborative team environments. Outside of work, she enjoys personal development, leadership growth, and spending quality time with her daughter.

Mpho Molekoa

Junior Property Portfolio Manager

Qualifications: Diploma in Human Resources, Diploma in Archives & Records Management

Mpho Molekoa is a Junior Portfolio Manager at Alimama Spaces, bringing experience in hospitality, short-term rentals, housekeeping, and property management. In her role, she supports the management and day-to-day operations of properties while ensuring guests receive a seamless, comfortable, and high-quality experience. Her strengths include organization, communication, attention to detail, and delivering excellent guest service.

Mpho holds a Diploma in Human Resources and Archives & Records Management, which has strengthened her people-management and administrative skills. Through her experience in hospitality and property operations, she has developed strong skills in guest relations, problem-solving, and maintaining service excellence in fast-paced environments.

She is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and believes that exceptional hospitality is built through care, professionalism, and attention to detail. Outside of work, Mpho enjoys travelling, cooking, and exploring new cultures and experiences.

Julia Abrams

Finance Administrator

Qualifications: BCom Industrial Psychology, ICB National Certificate in Bookkeeping, Advanced Certificate in Management

Julia Abrams is the Finance Administrator at Alimama Spaces, where she oversees the company’s financial administration, payroll, and reporting. With a strong focus on accuracy and strategic growth, she ensures that financial processes remain robust, compliant, and highly efficient.

Bringing nearly a decade of experience across finance, operations, and human resources, Julia has a proven track record of managing complex business systems. Her diverse professional background is backed by solid qualifications, including a BCom in Industrial Psychology, a National Certificate in Bookkeeping (ICB), and an Advanced Certificate in Management. Through her previous roles, she has developed a specialized expertise in replacing manual workflows with automated accounting and HR systems to maximize organizational efficiency.

Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, Julia balances technical financial expertise with a people-centered approach. She is dedicated to building sustainable, streamlined structures that support team collaboration and maintain the exceptional standards of excellence expected in luxury property management. Outside of her professional life, Julia maintains a dedicated physical fitness routine and has a deep passion for nature and wildlife conservation.

Thabo Sibanda

Operations and Systems Coordinator

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Honours in Applied Mathematics

Thabo Sibanda is the Operations and Systems Coordinator at Alimama Spaces, where he supports the efficiency and coordination of daily operations through structured systems, data management, and process improvement. Holding a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Applied Mathematics, he brings strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail to the fast-paced hospitality environment. His ability to manage operational systems with precision allows him to contribute to seamless workflows, improved team efficiency, and a consistent guest experience.

With a background in data analysis, quality assurance, and data management, Thabo has developed a methodical and solutions-driven approach to operational challenges. His technical expertise, combined with a strong focus on accuracy and organisation, enables him to support business processes effectively while maintaining high operational standards across the company.

Leina Manson

Housekeeping Customer Experience Manager

Qualification: Bachelor in Business Administration

Leina Manson  or Lei as she has become affectionately known by the team joined Alimama Spaces from its inception as part of the housekeeping staff coming from a sales background hungry for new opportunities and throughout the years demonstrated great discipline and dedication which saw her move from housekeeping to housekeeping Manager, which is a role she has been thriving in for the past 4 years.

Lei ensures that housekeeping and laundry staff are trained in all services, including cleaning procedures to rival hotel standards. Established a highly effective system to manage the work schedule for the team and work as a bridge between housekeeping and Operations.

Edgar Tasiyana

Customer Experience Maintenance & Driver
Qualification: High School  – National Certificate, Machine shop Engineering, Valid South African drivers license.

Edgar Tasiyana joined Alimama spaces as Driver / Maintenance personnel who has proven to be reliable and valuable to Alimama spaces.Has a rich work ethic with 8 years of driving experience and 3 years as handling maintenance issues. He has proven to be a great driver exercising safe operations in passenger transportation and good communication skills. His problem solving skills remain top tier. He prides himself in being a family man, highly committed to his job.

Robyn Claire du Plessis

Property Host

Qualification: Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Marketing (cum laude)

Robyn Claire du Plessis joins Alimama Spaces as a dynamic Senior Property Host with over 16 years of experience across a range of sectors, including tourism, logistics, operations, administration, sales, and marketing. She brings a comprehensive and adaptable skill set to the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences, optimizing property performance, and driving revenue through strategic marketing and client-focused service.

Robyn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, graduating cum laude with a specialization in Marketing. Her academic foundation in brand strategy, customer engagement, and market analysis enables her to effectively translate theory into practice, consistently delivering measurable business impact.

Throughout her career, Robyn has demonstrated the ability to manage complex business functions, from team leadership and process optimization to strategic marketing and client relations. Her diverse background has equipped her to adapt seamlessly to new environments, streamline workflows, and implement innovative operational improvements. She has successfully led cross-functional teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments, always maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement and service excellence.

Bokamoso Pitseng

Property Host

Qualification: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Linguistics

Bokamoso Pitseng is a dedicated Property Host at Alimama Spaces, committed to creating seamless and memorable guest experiences. With a strong background in hospitality, retail, and customer service, she brings professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail to every aspect of guest interaction and property management.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of South Africa (UNISA), which enhances her communication skills and understanding of customer needs. Her experience in fast-paced, client-focused environments has strengthened her ability to problem-solve effectively, remain organised under pressure, and maintain exceptional service standards.

Bokamoso is passionate about hospitality and takes pride in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and valued throughout their stay. Known for her reliability, efficiency, and approachable nature, she consistently contributes to delivering the high-quality experience that defines the Alimama Spaces brand.

Lesego Mahlomuza

Property Host

Qualification: National Diploma in Marketing Management

Lesego Mahlomuza is a detail-oriented marketing and administrative professional with experience in real estate, technology, and business operations. She is currently studying towards a BCom in Marketing and Management Science and holds a background in Sales and Marketing Management from the University of Johannesburg.

As a Property Host for the Alimama Spaces Team, she manages guest check-ins, bookings, and day to day operational coordination to ensure a seamless guest experience. Her strengths lie in communication, client service, and structured operational support, with a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

With prior experience in property management within long term rentals, she brings a well rounded understanding of property operations, guest relations, and service delivery. She is passionate about growing within the property and marketing space while contributing to efficient, guest focused business operations.

Qiniso Mabaso

Finance Intern

Qualification: Bachelor of Accounting Science 

Qiniso Mabaso also known as Q is a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Johannesburg graduate with a growing track record in both finance and client-facing roles. He began his professional journey in customer care as a car sales consultant, where he developed strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Following his graduation, Qiniso gained valuable industry experience as a Finance Intern within the engineering sector, where he strengthened his financial analysis, reporting, and operational support capabilities. He is currently part of the team at Alimama Spaces, where he continues to expand his expertise while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Qiniso brings a balanced blend of financial knowledge and customer-oriented thinking to his work. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing soccer and pool, reflecting his team spirit and competitive drive.

Simangele Mathe

Operations Intern

Qualification: Bachelor of Science Honours in Applied Mathematics

Simangele is a disciplined, analytical, and purpose-driven professional whose background in Applied Mathematics brings a unique edge to operations . With an Honors degree in Applied Mathematics, she has developed a strong ability to think critically, solve problems efficiently, and approach challenges with both logic and precision. In operations at Alimama Spaces, she uses these skills to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure that day to day operations run with structure and intention.

What sets Simangele apart is her ability to combine technical thinking with practicality. She understands how to break down complex situations, identify patterns, and create solutions that support both business growth and team functionality. Her growing interest in cybersecurity further reflects her curiosity for systems, innovation, and continuous learning.

Beyond the professional space, Simangele is passionate about reading, content creation, and vlogging, where she enjoys sharing experiences, insights, and ideas that encourage personal growth and creativity. Minenhle Manqele

Operations Intern

Working closely with her team, she contributes to creating a seamless and welcoming experience for guests from the very beginning of their journey. Lisakhanya Phandle

Operations Intern

Lisakhanya is a creative, resourceful and adaptable professional whose path into operations and property management is anything but conventional. With a wealth of experience in social media management, marketing and content creation, Lisakhanya understands something that most in the short-term rental space are still catching up to. Which is that in today’s market, a property isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a brand.

Whether it’s optimizing a listing’s presence, shaping the guest experience, or thinking through how a property is positioned in a saturated market, Lisakhanya brings a sharp eye for brand building and a genuine feel for what makes people choose one space over another. He is someone who can move fluidly between the business side and the storytelling side, combining creativity with business acumen in a way that is beneficial to the operations of a business.
